My Political Prediction for the 2022 Midterm Election

Good morning.

Occasionally I may talk politics.  But before I do, I will state officially that it is my belief that the two biggest problems in the country (politically speaking that is, and this is in no particular order) are...

  • The Republicans
  • The Democrats
They all suck.  You don't win either way.  Our country is going to hell in a handbasket.  Neither side knows what to do to make it better or to make it work for all Americans.  Each has their ideologies, and I personally think it's a scam excuse for why little gets done.

That said, there has been a lot of talk in the Mainstream Media (MSM) about the upcoming 2022 midterm election.  The Republicans are talking a lot about what they will do if they retake Congress.  The Democrats are trying to come to terms with the failures of the Biden administration and how to turn it around so that they can try to keep control, but with inflation at a 40-year high and the Coronavirus spiking once again with record numbers of people in the hospital and dying, you would think it's time for them to throw in the towel.

But not so fast I say, because I have a couple things to point out.
  1. Covid is not going away.  We will be living with this menace for a very long time.
  2. The Republicans are the ones who are not getting vaccinated against Covid, and are against mask mandates, etc, which according to the MSM and all the government health scientists, is the best way to protect yourself from sickness and death.
Here are a few examples.

The newly sworn-in Republican Governor of Virginia just signed an executive order which removes mask mandates in schools and gives parents the choice to decide whether their kids have to wear masks in school to protect themselves from Covid.  Microsoft Word - PRINT VERSION- 2- EO 2 - School Mask Mandate Executive Order Exception.docx (virginia.gov)

Republicans fought Biden's vaccine mandate for businesses with over 100 employees.

Marjory Taylor-Green even tried to claim, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, that the Democrats are pushing segregation against the unvaccinated.

Republican voting states have higher death rates from Covid, because they're the ones against vaccination.

I could continue, but you get the point.

So based on all of that, here is my prediction, stated on January 19th, 2022 about the upcoming midterms in November.

The Democrats will take more seats in Congress, because so many Republican anti-vaxers/maskers/social distancers, will get the new soon to be identified DeltaCronFluRonaIdiot variant of covid and die between now and then, that states like Florida and Texas will turn blue.

This is Darwinism playing out.  It's a scary process, but the world will continue without them.  Human evolution will continue as God had intended it.
